About the Role

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications is a master wordsmith who designs and implements all aspects of Startup Canada’s communication strategies. With a passion for supporting entrepreneurs, the Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications, is responsible for the development and execution of the Marketing & Communications Strategy for Startup Canada. Leading a talented Marketing & Communications team, the incumbent will plan, coordinate, and work in partnership with the team to deliver all content, including (not limited to) social media, newsletters, blogs, digital content, website copy, email marketing, public relations, collateral and advertising. The Senior Manager, Marketing & Communications leads the Marketing & Communications team, and works in partnership to create written content. The Senior Manager is responsible for increasing awareness and affinity of Startup Canada through thoughtful and compelling storytelling by convening diverse voices of entrepreneurs and ecosystem leaders.
